Deflation can easily lead to misery. Every single one of us has been there. Its nothing new, it is nothing exciting. It feels like nothing is going to right, and that everything is just a mess.
To change this dark feeling, into a light feeling of self-love and motivation, you need to make sure you are taking care of yourself. A lack of self-care is the start of feeling deflated, and if we catch that in the bud, we now how to solve the issue when it next makes an appearance.
Sometimes there is just nothing we can say, nothing we can do that feels like it makes a difference. Sometimes it means that we are not ready to leave that feeling. People are saying ‘listen your body’ these days, but I want to sincerely add to that… ‘listen to your mind’. Listen to what your mind is telling you, you need.
I know for me, if I try to get out a deflated, sad, or upset emotion to soon or too quickly, it can creep in again the next day, VERY easily. Allow yourself to feel emotion. It is extremely important for your mental health. This is a crucial part of self-love and self-care.
On the odd occasion for me, these emotional, deflating spells are PMS related (sorry boys!! – its a fact of life for us women!). If this is the case, I like to add to the emotion to let it out!!! I know it sounds silly, but what I mean is, watch a love movie that makes you cry, or a sad movie.. because let’s face it. We ALL need a cry every now and then.
These tips might not make you feel like things will change, but trust me.. they will. If you are the kind of person who can be deflated often, then these tips are ESPECIALLY for you. You need to realise that when we take care of our mind, we take care of ourselves.
Allow yourself the ability to feel the emotions you suppress. These emotions change the character inside your soul, and need to be addressed. Let yourself feel what you need to feel in order for your soul to heal and mend itself.
Can I tell you a secret?
When I started writing this blog post, I was in a low point. Now, haven written this article for you, and for myself, I feel a lot better. I feel uplifted, and actually.. surprisingly motivated!! (It takes a hell of a lot for me to feel motivated.)
I believe in you. I believe that you, whoever you are, reading this, that you can do anything that you put your mind to. Do you know why? It is because I have written this post for you. I still have bad days, even if maybe to the outside world I have my life together. I really do not.
Allow yourself to feel emotions, turn to self-care before anything else, and make sure that you are taking care of yourself enough for you to feel lifted, in those moments of deflation.
You are the motivation to your deflation, I’m just here to make you realise it.
You are capable of every dream that you ever dream, If only you were to believe in yourself more. Can you imagine what the world would be like if we were all to believe in ourselves and not question our minds?
The world would be a different place to the one it is now.
